The Texas Lawyers’ Assistance Program (TLAP) of the State Bar of Texas seeks an experienced, collegial and highly professional Masters level licensed therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) to work in support of TLAP’s mission, which is to provide confidential support and referrals for lawyers, law students and judges who are experiencing issues with substance use and/or mental health. Must be a Masters level therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) licensed in Texas with a minimum of 3 years post-license clinical experience. Requires demonstrated education and knowledge of impairments affecting legal professionals including stress and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, mood disorders and cognitive impairment. Requires experience designing, developing and delivering professional presentations, as well as excellent speaking, writing and computer skills. Must have superior judgment, interpersonal skills, integrity, and demonstrated commitment to, and experience with, working collegially and collaboratively in a team environment. Travel required up to 20% and rotating availability to handle off-hour coverage of TLAP phone.
