Audio Video Specialist performs complex video, multimedia, audio-visual operation, and production work for TexasBarCLE and other entities of the State Bar of Texas. Work involves the preparation and production of multimedia content using computer, audio, presentation, and video production equipment and software. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position is part of a team that provides audio-visual support and records over 90 live CLE seminars each year. Responsible for the recording, editing, production, and delivery of online content.
• Participates in the production of live seminars, webcasts, and remote recordings.
• Produces, directs, and edits video projects, to include planning, scripting, capturing footage, live-streaming, and designing graphics and interactive media materials.
• Extensive travel for the audio-visual production and capturing of live events and seminars.
• Duplicates audio and video media and digital data for distribution.
• Maintains audiovisual media libraries and catalogs.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Video, Film, TV, or related field.
• Minimum 2-years of professional production experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Position requires driving a van and frequent travel.
• Working knowledge of video cameras, recorders, projectors, audio mixers, streaming devices, computers, and other production equipment.
• Working knowledge of various media presentation and editing software like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Zoom.
• Working knowledge of computer systems/software - both Windows and Mac.
• Comprehend information audibly and visually to perform assigned responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to work independently under continuous deadlines.
• Must be physically able to load, unload, and set up production equipment. Required activities include driving a van and lifting up to 50 pounds.
