Serves as the Registration Coordinator responsible for customer service, data entry, billing, and maintenance of electronic files related to seminar accounts receivable. Also responsible for a variety of TBCLE office related duties and coordinating with other staff members. Involves frequent contact with State Bar departments, attorneys, and the public. Reports to the Business Development and Finance Manager.
Provides a variety of high-level administrative support services to the Membership Department, including managing the reinstatement process; answering and responding to telephone calls and emails requesting customer service, information, and assistance; processing voluntary resignations; processing list requests and PIA requests; and monitoring and updating MCLE discrepancies and updating MCLE suspension dates in the membership database. Frequent contact with other departments of the State Bar, the public, and other individuals and organizations outside of the State Bar.
The Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Administrator supports and ensures the accuracy and completeness of Texas IOLTA Program database management system, including tracking, analyzing, and compiling detailed financial data and related documentation from more than100,000 attorneys, 36,000+ IOLTA accounts with 400+ financial institutions. The IOLTA Program is administered by the Texas Access to Justice Foundation to provide civil legal services throughout the state.
Responsibilities of the IOLTA Administrator include processing detailed financial data from monthly and quarterly bank reports and imports into the IOLTA database and managing and administering the annual IOLTA compliance functions for all Texas attorneys and law firms.
Represents the Texas Commission for Lawyer Discipline in attorney discipline proceedings before District Grievance Committees, District Courts, and the Board of Disciplinary Appeals. This position involves frequent contact with State Bar departments, as well as with outside agencies and organizations.
The Director of Finance is responsible for managing all aspects of the Finance Department of the Texas Access to Justice Foundation, including supervising finance staff, managing the full cycle of accounting functions and adherence with Generally Accepting Accounting Principles (GAAP), overseeing all investment activities, and coordinating with positions throughout the Foundation to create timely, accurate reports for grantors and other stakeholders.

The Texas Access to Justice Foundation (TAJF) was created by the Supreme Court of Texas to administer the Texas IOLTA (Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts) Program.
