Represents the Chief Disciplinary Counsel and/or Commission for Lawyer Discipline during the attorney disciplinary process. May occasionally represent the State Bar of Texas in litigation. Involves frequent contact with State Bar departments, complainants, respondents, and other outside agencies and organizations.
Performs highly advanced accounting work involving implementing major accounting practices by assisting in preparing for annual financial audit, preparing complex account reconciliations, serving as backup for Sections Accountants and the Membership Accountant, approve and review accountant’s journal entries. Assist in preparing for monthly and annual close and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial reporting. Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. The Senior Accountant is expected to use persuasion to influence outcomes and demonstrate leadership and supervisory abilities to provide guidance when the Controller is unavailable. Provides litigation support to the attorneys of the office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel in the prosecution of attorney disciplinary cases and support for miscellaneous cases brought against the State Bar of Texas. This position involves frequent contact with State Bar staff, committees, and departments, attorneys, and other individuals and organizations outside the State Bar.
Performs routine and non-routine, scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs of the building, equipment and mechanical systems for the State Bar of Texas. Works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager. Involves frequent contact with other staff members of the State Bar and occasional contact with outside maintenance and service personnel.
Represents the Texas Commission for Lawyer Discipline in attorney discipline proceedings before District Grievance Committees, District Courts, and the Board of Disciplinary Appeals. This position involves frequent contact with State Bar departments, as well as with outside agencies and organizations.
The Legal Access Attorney assists the executive leadership of the Texas Access to Justice Commission and the State Bar of Texas by focusing on the development and implementation of initiatives to improve access to justice for low-income Texans.

Responsible for mentoring and training of less experienced investigators as assigned by Regional Counsel. Audio Video Specialist performs complex video, multimedia, audio-visual operation, and production work for TexasBarCLE and other entities of the State Bar of Texas. Work involves the preparation and production of multimedia content using computer, audio, presentation, and video production equipment and software. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position is part of a team that provides audio-visual support and records over 90 live CLE seminars each year. Responsible for the recording, editing, production, and delivery of online content.

Provides a variety of general administrative support services to the Chief Disciplinary Counsel’s office and serves as the first point of contact for the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. This front-line position must be knowledgeable about all aspects of the services provided by and work of the department and organization in order to respond to the myriad of questions from callers and refer callers to the appropriate individuals in the organization. This position also supports the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel handling various administrative responsibilites and is cross-trained to handle legal secretary responsibilities as needed. Involves frequent contact with the public, State Bar membership, State Bar staff, and individuals and organizations outside the State Bar.
