The Program Administrator administers the Law Practice Management program in the Law Practice Management Department. The Program Administrator works with the Law Practice Management Committee to develop innovative, useful resources that assist Texas attorneys in developing and managing their law practices. The Program Administrator also manages content on practice management issues for the texasbarpractice.com website and answers practice management questions from members of the Bar. Involves contact with volunteer lawyers, judges, and professors as well as frequent contact with State Bar departments, committees, and the public. Reports directly to the Director of the Law Practice Management Department.
Manage, coordinate and perform the activities related to the maintenance of the Texas Law Center and the contents related to the mechanical functioning, including the grounds. Keep all mechanical systems in working order and operating within applicable safety and fire regulations, as well as federal, state and local building codes. Ensure the Texas Law Center, including the grounds, provides a safe, comfortable environment for members, visitors, staff and the public.
Processes and reviews cash receipts and credit card transactions, making deposits and transmitting credit card activity to the bank. Maintains the petty cash box. Enters daily credit card transactions into the accounting system for departments throughout the State Bar. Prepares journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for non-complex accounts. Provides a variety of administrative support services for the Chief Financial Officer and general office support to the Accounting department.
Represents the Texas Commission for Lawyer Discipline in attorney discipline proceedings in District Courts, the Supreme Court’s Board of Disciplinary Appeals, and before District Grievance Committees. Provides ethical direction to State Bar members. This position involves frequent contact with State Bar departments, as well as with outside agencies and organizations, and with complainants and respondent attorneys.
Supports MCLE compliance, non-compliance, accreditation processes and staff through data entry. Assure accuracy and timeliness of records and filing systems. Provides effective customer service through telephone and email with attorneys and CLE sponsors. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
Assists Program Attorneys, Program Planners, Program Coordinators, and the Managing Director of Texas Bar College as needed. Primarily responsible for several aspects of course material production, support of volunteers related to the delivery of continuing legal education (CLE) products and services, and Bar College member support. Support of volunteers and Bar College members includes but is not limited to formatting and processing of articles submitted for seminar books, processing speaker and author evaluations, conveying evaluation results to staff and volunteers, compiling materials for program participants, proofing and ordering course materials, data entry of course information and membership data, processing membership applications and payments, and some correspondence. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of remote work and in office.
Working under the direct supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager, performs routine accounts payable work issuing vendor payments via check and EFT. Maintains, posts, balances and reconciles accounts payable. Maintains the accuracy of coding and payments. Maintains open communications with vendors obtaining relevant information to update the vendor master file. Maintains open communication with relevant departments in multiple locations. Research and reconcile discrepancies. Prepare month-end closing reports.

The Texas Access to Justice Foundation awards annual grants to programs assisting disadvantaged Texans with civil legal matters. The primary purpose of the Grants Administrative Assistant position is to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Grants and other Program Officers. The Grants Administrative Assistant administers grantee programmatic and fiscal activities related to multiple funds granted to non-profit legal services organizations throughout Texas and streamlines grant management utilizing the online grants system. This position is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of accurate grant data for the Foundation. Other administrative duties include planning and logistics for all grant-related meetings. Responsible for assisting with communication materials, including content for website, social media, e-newsletters, fundraising appeals, presentations, and other materials as needed. Responsible for graphics and visual presence of various initiatives and campaigns. Assists with the coordination of large conferences and events. The TexasBarBooks department publishes law books in print, digital, and online formats. A publications attorney analyzes and edits legal manuscripts for substantive accuracy and clarity. Involves contact with the volunteer lawyers, judges, and professors who write legal materials for publication as well as frequent contact with State Bar departments, committees, and the public. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
The Audio-Video-Online Media Specialist provides video production, remote recording, web streaming, live event production, and audio-visual services for TexasBarCLE and other entities of the State Bar. This position is part of a team that provides audio-visual support and records over 90 live CLE seminars each year, collectively producing over 2100 hours of video content that supports over 7 million dollars in revenue. Responsible for the recording, editing, and delivery of online video CLE. Responsible for providing technical support, audio-visual assistance, and customer service to State Bar speakers, leadership, and members.
Provides a variety of administrative support services, primarily involving customer service, to the Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS) Department. Involves fielding a high volume of incoming telephone contacts with the public and other organizations outside the State Bar, predominantly for informational purposes. Also responsible for LRIS attorney member support and payments processing services. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Provides a variety of legal and administrative support services in the intake, investigation and prosecution of attorney disciplinary cases. This position involves frequent contact with other departments and committees of the State Bar of Texas, attorneys, clients, complainants, respondents and other outside agencies and organizations.
The Program Officer serves on the Grants Team and reports to the Director of Grants. Responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of assigned Foundation grantees and informing the team of all information and issues pertinent to the TAJF grantee community as a whole. Interfaces with the communications manager on all public relations specific to assigned grantees and projects. Serves as a key member of the Foundation's Grants Team to implement all aspects of grant-making and monitoring initiatives that result in achieving TAJF’s mission and vision.
